Journals 2004, July

We arrived in our new home town, Camden, Maine, on July 9th. A week or so later, I took this photo of our sons in front of our new home specifically to use in my July Journal. I discovered that you don't have to quilt leaf shapes to create the appearance of leaves in the tree canopy--several shades of overlapping green in jiggles and squiggles worked well.
